Pujya Sri Swami Dayananda Saraswati
H.H. Pujya Sri Swami Dayananda Saraswati, was one of the greatest teachers of Vedanta to walk this planet.
The ingenuity of his teaching lies in his innate ability to extract the vision of Vedanta from traditional Sanskrit texts and convey it to a modern-day audience in a most remarkable and intelligible manner, thereby transforming the listener’s erroneous perceptions of himself, the world and of Ishvara.
Pujya Swamiji’s legacy also extends beyond the teaching of Vedanta. As befitting of his name, ‘Dayananda’, the truly defining hallmark of Swamiji’s life was his all-embracing, agenda-less compassion and love. This manifested through the various projects and activities he initiated, bringing positive improvements to the lives of thousands of human beings.
As a world-renowned spiritual teacher, Swami Dayananda Saraswati’s influence on the global stage has been enormous. Posthumously awarded the Padma Bhushan, he was the founder of AIM for Seva, Swami Dayananda Educational Trust, Arsha Vidya Research & Publication Trust and Arsha Vidya Gurukulams in India and USA.
As Head of this Parampara, he has trained many teachers of Vedanta over the decades, who continue to share the Vision of Vedanta in line with the Tradition.
